Our price is determined only by carat weight. Stones up to 3 ct are priced at a flat €350 per carat; stones from 3 ct at €400 per carat. Colour, clarity, cut, shape and certificate do not change the price. Every stone ships with an IGI certificate and free insured worldwide shipping. The minimum stone weight we sell is 0.50 ct. The price shown includes EU VAT; the final quote is confirmed in writing before payment.
No. Only carat weight changes the price. A 1 ct D-colour round diamond costs the same as a 1 ct J-colour emerald diamond. Up to 3 ct the rate is €350/ct; from 3 ct the rate is €400/ct.
Yes. When your total order weight reaches 10 ct, bulk pricing applies: €340 per carat for stones up to 3 ct, and €380 per carat for stones of 3 ct and above. Orders of 100 ct or more are priced individually — please contact the DIAMO ELITE desk for a written quote.

Yes. We offer free, fully insured worldwide shipping on every order. Each parcel is tracked and requires a signature on delivery. Customs paperwork is handled and the shipment is declared at its insured value.
You have 14 days from delivery to inspect the stone in hand. If it is not the one, contact us to start a return. The stone must be unworn and returned with its original certificate and packaging. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after the stone is received and inspected.
The price shown includes EU VAT and free insured shipping. There are no hidden handling or certificate fees. For non-EU destinations, any local import duties or taxes are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in our price.

How we value your piece, what we accept and exactly how the 48-hour written offer works.
Our gemologist assesses the centre stone (4Cs and shape), any side stones, the metal type and weight, and — for branded or signed pieces — the maker and current secondary-market demand. Mined diamonds are benchmarked against RapNet indexes; lab-grown against our monthly wholesale panel; gold and platinum against the daily LBMA fix. You receive a written breakdown of every line item.
Trade-in credit is typically 50–70% of the appraised market value, depending on category. Loose certified diamonds and investment-grade stones sit at the top of that range; branded jewellery, watches and finished mountings sit lower to cover refurbishment or resale risk. The credit is applied against any DIAMO ELITE stone or bespoke commission.
We accept diamonds from 0.30 ct upwards (mined or lab-grown, any era), gold jewellery from 9k and higher, platinum and signed pieces from recognised houses. We do not accept silver, costume jewellery, gemstones with heavy treatments (glass filling, laser drilling), stones with major chips or cracks visible without magnification, or items without provable ownership. Damaged mountings are fine — we credit the stones and recover the metal.
Hour 0: you submit photos and details through the trade-in form. Hour 0–4 (business hours): our desk confirms receipt and asks any clarifying questions. Hour 4–24: the gemologist reviews photos, certificates and reference sales. Hour 24–48: you receive a written credit offer with a full valuation breakdown, valid for 14 days. The 48-hour clock covers only business hours (Mon–Fri, 09:00–17:00 UK); pieces sent in physically are re-checked in-house within 2 further business days before credit is finalised.
For pieces valued above €1,500 we arrange and pay for an insured FedEx or DHL pickup, covered up to the appraised value. Below that threshold, you can either ship it yourself (we reimburse the insured shipping cost against a receipt) or drop it off at our London office by appointment. Every parcel is signed for and photographed on arrival.
You are under no obligation. If you decline the credit offer, we return the piece to you within 3 business days, fully insured at our expense, in the same condition it arrived. The written valuation is yours to keep.
Any original certificate (IGI, GIA, HRD), the original invoice or receipt, service records for watches, and — if applicable — a proof of ownership such as an insurance schedule. Missing paperwork is not a blocker: unsertified stones are re-graded in-house at no cost, though this can add 1–2 days to the timeline.
